Flicking throu magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Shop till you drop, Harpers Bazer and In Style I have noticed the new 'It Trend,' the one tone look. Basically wearing one solid colour from top to bottom. I personally think this trend can look fabulous if you get it right but can go horribly wrong at the same time....
New Uniform
Take your all hue black outfit and mix it up with different textures to make the safe all-black outfit a more brighter version of the monochromatic look. (i.e Containing or using only one colour) This makes this trend a bit more fun and interesting. Below I have put some examples together so you get the jist of what I am blabbing on about. :)
Seeing Red...
Red from top to bottom, adding silver jewellery to this outfit it gives a mellow affect. Love the love lip stick as well.
Only a few people can pull of the all yellow look. But the silhouette on the dress suits her well and the shoes add a nice texture to the outfit.
Love the all white outfit.

Below is my take on how you can wear this trend, find pieces with different textures for example a shiny jersey peplum top ( A short overskirt or ruffle attached at the waistline of a jacket, blouse, or dress) with skinny jeans and a fur bag with shiny two tone black heels.
