Lace is Back!
This feminine fabric is back for spring 2013. It screams sexy but classy. Two reasons why I love lace.
1. Lady like
2.Can be worn incorporated in so many pieces. (Dresses, skirts, hats, gloves and the list goes on)
This old fashion favourite has been transformed into the 21st century with many designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Luisa Beccaria and Roberta Cavalli giving lace an upgrade and making it on trend and on style this Spring.

One of my favourite looks this season is the 'all white' trend, add a mix of lace to it and it screams sophistication and utterly mouth watering.

Going Stripe Crazy!!!
Did someone say Stripes?
Whether horizontal, vertical, thin, thick, black and white or in living colour, stripes make a graphic statement, day or night. And while we cant think of a time when stripes weren’t in, they are certainly back in a big way for Spring 2013.

Spring Time: Bermuda Shorts
Trending Now: Bermuda Shorts
Leave the short shorts in your wardrobe this Spring. Instead we are welcoming the Bermuda shorts with open arms!! Ladies, the hemline of shorts is now at its all time low.
The Bermuda Short was all over the catwalk at New York's Spring Fashion parades. Bermuda shorts are perfect for spring, easy to incorporate to your wardrobe and oh so flattering. If opting for a loose style then try it in denim. Very cool, and very on trend. Chic, flattering and fam-friendly!! Bermuda!! Take a bow!!
La Moda Stylist top 2 Styling Tips
Wear a fitted Bermuda short and pair it with a loose, high-low top. Try a printed pattern but wear it with minimal accessories or the outfit will become to busy.
Look for detail in a white loose Bermuda short. Wear a fitted colour top (try orange or pink) and tuck it in. Pair it with a metallic shiny belt. Ultra chic and feminine.

Flower Power: DIY
I love flower head pieces. I wish I could wear one everyday! They are a great option for the boho woman who wants something fresh, fun, and different than the usual wedding floral jewellry. If you want this look but are not sure how to make it happen, then this post is for you
Follow my easy steps, and in no time you will have your very own flower headpiece.
Materials:
-Scissors
-Fake Flowers
-Needle & Thread
-Head Band (Material Based)
Step 1. Cut the fake flowers of the steam. (You can use any colour flowers you like)
Step 2. Grab the head band (Note. I used a material based one, a halo type, you can buy these at any cheap stores.) Place the flowers in the desired place.
Step 3. Grab the needle and thread and start sewing the flowers in place from the bottom.
(Note: If your have trouble you can also use super glue)

Embrace Monochrome 2013
We are now in Spring!! But don't get your Hawaiian shirts out just yet...This time of year the weather can be unpredictable. Call me crazy but I am still in love with the monochrome trend, and yes its back for Spring!!!
While walking down Rundle Mall today I found myself smiling. The monochrome trend was everywhere and guess what I am loving how fashionistas are embracing this trend and making it there very own. Best of all, anyone can pull of this trend.
4 Reasons Why I'm in Love:
1. A Classic & Classy Look
2. Shop from your own Wardrobe
3. Always in Style
4. Freedom Of Adding Colours
Monochrome For Every Occasion
(No need to stare at your wardrobe again!!!)

Most importantly, if it starts getting cold again you can layer up (everything matches). No need to have 2 separate wardrobes this Spring.

Black + White = Sexy Back!!
For spring its all about textures, mixing your white chiffon blouse with leather. Experiment with patterns and shapes, don't be afraid to put your very one spin on things. Make the look yours and own it.
Even our very own Aussie designer Manning Cartell featured black and white pieces in his collection earlier this year in Australian Fashion Week.
